I was with
Owen McHugh heading out onto the beach dunes at Montrose Point when
Owen said, "Look! The fox is out!." Sure enough there it
was, but shortly it was apparent that the fox wasn't alone.
We spotted
at least three kits, though there may have been more. The most that
were in view at one time was three, including one that looked a little
larger than the others.
The kits were
out, under the parent's supervision, only for about 10 minutes, and
then everyone went back into the den.
