Some Birds in Lincoln Park

4 May 2008

Here is a Le Conte's Sparrow that was found at Montrose Point.

This Marsh Wren was foraging on the ground at Montrose Point's Magic Hedge.

There were many Least Flycatchers in the park. Here is one of the eight we saw.

A Blue-headed Vireo was uncharacteristicly feeding low, even going to the ground, at North Pond.

This Forster's Tern was one among close to a dozen in the Sculling Lagoon.

A Sora was in the cattails at the north end of North Pond.
