Least Bittern

Sam Burckhardt found a Least Bittern just off the boardwalk at South Pond in Chicago's Lincoln Park on 23 June 2011. The bird was relocated there the next day, and the day after that (Saturday) Christine and I were able to go over and look for it. This bird was very vocal, calling softly while foraging in the cattails there. Here are a few images.
