An adult Laughing had been seen on Montrose Beach off and on in the spring and early summer of 2006 after Pete Quagliana first spotted it there on 8 May. Here it is on 6 June 2006.

In the fall of 2005, the Laughing Gull at Montrose was in basic plumage, here seen with a couple of Ring-billed Gulls on 10 September 2005.
