Remarks: Found by an unknown individual who reported the bird to the Lake Forest Openlands Association. The bird was found dead and frozen on 17 January 2024; the specimen was taken to the Field Museum of Natural History, where it was prepared as a study skin and is now housed in their collection. Doug Stotz at the Field Museum noted that "It was a female and not emaciated, suggesting it died directly from the cold."
