Date(s): 28 May (at Lake Springfield) and 10 Jun through 14 Jun (6 birds) and 17 Jun through 27 July 2016 (one bird remaining)
Number of birds: six
Remarks: First found at Lake Springfield by H. David Bohlen on 28 May 2016 with six birds present. Six birds were seen by various individuals at the "mall pond" in Springfield during 10-14 June 2016, but only one bird observed after that during 17 Jun - 27 Jul (last sighting on 27 July 2016 was by Dave Bohlen). The "mall pond" is located at latitude/longitude 39.7605852, -89.7101068.
