Remarks: Various individuals reported seeing a Ruff at Chautauqua National Wildlife Refuge in the days before and after this sighting, the earliest being a report by Kevin D. Richmond of a juvenile female on 27 August 2014 and the latest apparently on 1 September 2014 (by Aaron Gyllenhaal and Colin Dobson among several others). No other documentation or any photos have been submitted to IORC, however.
