Photo #1 by Dan Kassebaum on 13 April 2013. Caption by Kassebaum: "Least Sandpiper (left) Little Stint (right) White-tail Access, Clinton County, April 13, 2013. My assessment in the field was that the bird on the right was larger than the LESA on the left."

Photo #2 by Dan Kassebaum on 13 April 2013. Caption by Kassebaum: "Least Sandpipers (foreground) Little Stint (top) White-tail Access, Clinton County, April 13, 2013. Again a size difference can be noted compared to the two LESA in the foreground."

Photo #3 by Dan Kassebaum on 13 April 2013. Caption by Kassebaum: "Least Sandpiper (left) Little Stint (right) White-tail Access, Clinton County, April 13, 2013. Again an obvious difference in size."

Photo #4 by Dan Kassebaum on 13 April 2013. Caption by Kassebaum: "Little Stint - White-tail Access, Clinton County, April 13, 2013. Compare the loral area and crown pattern with the LESA and the SESA above. Here a larger pale area directly above the bill."

Photo #5 by Dan Kassebaum on 13 April 2013. Caption by Kassebaum: "Little Stint - White-tail Access, Clinton County, April 13, 2013. Seen here on the legs and much of the foreground is a foamy greenish slime. Also, a good look at the spread toes which lack any hint of webbing. Note too the gape pattern."

Photo #6 by Dan Kassebaum on 13 April 2013. Caption by Kassebaum: "Little Stint - White-tail Access, Clinton County, April 13, 2013. A nice look at the back and note the very faint streaks along the left flank."

Photo #7 by Dan Kassebaum on 13 April 2013. Caption by Kassebaum: "Little Stint - White-tail Access, Clinton County, April 13, 2013. The spread toes reveal no webbing so SESA/WESA are out. Note the two fresh tertials with relatively broad orange edges. This peep/stint field mark is typical only for LESA, LTST and LIST."

Photo #8 by Dan Kassebaum on 13 April 2013. Caption by Kassebaum: "Little Stint - White-tail Access, Clinton County, April 13, 2013. Another good look at the toes. Here the right tarsus looks greenish which is not unknown for LIST."

Photo #9 by Dan Kassebaum on 13 April 2013. Caption by Kassebaum: "Little Stint - White-tail Access, Clinton County, April 13, 2013. Note the pattern of the worn lower scapulars; simply gray with a fine shaft streak and a thin border of white along the edges. Note too the white chin and lightly marked breast. Here on the left side is another fresh tertial with a relatively broad orange edge. This tertial feature is not typical for SESA."

Photo #10 by Dan Kassebaum on 13 April 2013. Caption by Kassebaum: "Little Stint - White-tail Access, Clinton County, April 13, 2013. The toes are looking dark or merely soiled dark. Here the primaries are seen extending beyond the tertials."
